Alpine Metal Tech receives order for reconstruction of a coal transportation system

This reconstructioning also contains the installation of a massive coal screen as well as a subsequent belt conveyor.

The entire scope of work consists of three major tasks: initially the existing coal conveyor system will be redesigned and rebuilt. In the next step a coal screen will be engineered and built into the transportation system. This coal screen is being used for separating the coal from non-coal substances – both delivered on the coal conveyor system to the screen. Within the third step AMT will install a belt conveyor to transport the non-coal substances to a separate scrap stockpile. On the other hand the coal will be transported to the blast furnace.

AMT as the turnkey-supplier is responsible for the entire project scope including engineering, supply and installation of entire equipment as well as commissioning.
