Alpine Metal Tech GmbH was awarded with an Upper Austrian award for innovation

For the project "AMT Wheel Analytics (Analytics as a Service) - a production analysis system for aluminum wheels" Alpine Metal Tech received a state prize for innovation in Upper Austria. Managing Director of the Group Dr. Christian Preslmayr accepted the award from Deputy Govenor (State of Upper Austria) Dr. Michael Strugl during the ceremony on October 30, 2018 in Linz.

AMT Wheel Analytics collects data from the entire production chain - from specially developed measuring and processing machines - and automatically evaluates them, accessing the production process in real time to make corrections. The algorithms make it possible to cover a wide variety of different rims. This results in a reduction of the reject rate and an optimization of the production process for the manufacturer. Precise measurement data as well as a seamless tracking of the individual wheel in the entire production process are essential prerequisites for the system. In order to make the process available, AMT has also developed measuring, marking and reading systems. Thus, customers receive a complete package of machine and higher-level process analysis. 

This year, the Upper Austrian state prize for innovation took place for the 25th time. A jury selects companies with innovative solutions within different categories. More information regarding the prize can be found under www.biz-up.at
