The S series presents high-performance vertical lathes with a table diameter up to 1600 mm and is the perfect solution for medium and small machining.

The series shows highest accuracy at turning and milling operations, which results in improved quality and productivity. Due to the modular machine design, nearly every customer request can be fulfilled.

To achieve future quality standards, years of collected project know-how has been considered for the development of this machine series. Furthermore, useful features like free configurable left or right control panel or a second separate chips conveyor to reduce thermal influence for higher machining accuracy have been added.

The S machines are equipped with four-axis system, a 100-piece pocket tool changer and milling and/or grinding heads with a power up to 25 kW. Additionally, it is possible to add a pallet load/unload system for saving cycle time. All these features lead to the ability to carry out two different operations and make these machines particularly suitable for the manufacturing of high-precision components with a production process that cannot be met by traditional machines.
