Small Private Aircraft Simulators

Simulation’s Small Private Fire Simulators provide realistic live fire training for smaller private aircraft in both the piston and jet categories.  A limitless list of models are available for manufacture including popular choices from Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, and Lear. Each simulator is customizable to each customer’s requirements and budget.  Simulators in this category are also available as a fixed installation or mobile on a trailer.

The small private live fire training simulators are the perfect size both physically and for tighter budgets, yet have the possibility to contain many of the features of our larger simulators.  They are engineered to provide amazingly accurate dimensions of the actual aircraft in order to provide the most realistic training for firefighters and rescue crews. Details such as door heights, door functions, seat pitches, cockpit layout, cargo compartments, wings, engines, and the fuselage are in the same places they would encounter in a real aircraft.  Elements of multiple aircraft manufactures can be included in a single simulator.

Fixed Versions

Immersed into the incredibly realistic prop are the options for a multitude of different live fire scenarios both internally and externally such as fires in the seats, cockpit, cargo area, engines, wings, fuselage, landing gear, batteries, ground fuel spill fires, or any other specific area where a customer wants to train.

All of this is brought together with a state-of-the-art PLC computer control system utilizing the most advanced wireless full color control devices.  This enables the instructor to have complete control over the scenario while at the same time being able to physically direct the firefighters and rescue personnel in correct tactics and procedures.

Mobile Versions

Besides having the small aircraft in a fixed position, a very common customer option is to have the simulator in a mobile format.  Supplied on a custom-built trailer that includes the LPG tanks, power supply, and ancillary equipment, most smaller private aircraft simulators can be towed to any location with a heavy-duty pickup truck. Dependent on model, the prop is either hoisted or wheeled off the trailer, the wings unfolded and locked, the gas hoses and electrical cable hooked up, test-fired and safety checked…….all in about 40 minutes!  While there are limits to the number of fires and limitations to the use of LPG only, mobile simulators can offer a large range of fire scenarios and rescue training - all with the benefit of being able to be relocated to various training sites.
