The installed torch cutting machines from our brand GEGA are our so-called SSC type, which work with a pneumatic clamping system. The machines are fully automated and equipped with various mechanical and electronical features like:

  • I/O link technology
  • Electrical pressure set-up for gas and oxygen via operators panel
  • Non-contact edge detection with optical laser sensing
  • Mobile panel for operation and maintenance at the machine
  • Gearless torque motors for torch carriage drives
  • Automatic adaption of torch distance
  • High availability due to torch redundancy
  • Display for alarms and warnings incl. history

Moreover, the torch cutting machines are designed to cut single as well as twin slabs.
