Ribbon Cutting at Chicago O´Hare International Airport

Attended by dignitaries, senior fire department personnel, the contract teams, and local media, the event was a resounding success with a tour of the simulator followed by a live fire exercise by the Chicago Fire Department O’Hare ARFF crews.

This new simulator puts Chicago on the cutting edge of technology with features and advancements found on no other simulator in the world. Besides the design, construction and installation of the new rig, SIMULATION also completely refurbished and upgraded hardware and control systems for the burn pit and SAFT system at the facility. The airport fire crews are now able to experience countless internal and external fire and rescue scenarios that will challenge even the most veteran fire fighters and fire officers.
