New 737/A320 live fire training simulator at Blue Grass Airport, Lexington, Kentucky

Alpine Metal Tech North America is proud to announce being awarded a contract to build a brand new 737/A320 live fire training simulator for Blue Grass Airport in Kentucky. Blue Grass is one of the official national FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) training sites.

AMT North America will act as the design-build company for this FAA funded project which will include the design and manufacture of the simulator, coordination of the civil construction (Whiting-Turner as partner), propane tank farm construction (Superior Energy as partner) and also the supply of a mobile UH-60 Helicopter. Completion and handover are expected to be in mid 2024.
