MD860 measuring modules BORE and WALL available

With these two new measuring modules, the critical characteristics of center bore diameter (BORE) and wall thickness in the rim base (WALL) can be measured 100%. Both measuring modules are also available for our new, compact housing concept MD760.

BORE:
After inbound and centering, the wheels are measured by line sensor in the fitting area. This technology ensures reliable measurement with a tolerance of 0.046 mm.

WALL:
The required circumferential measurement of the wall thickness in the rim base is completely fulfilled with this measuring module. While the wheel is turning, the wall thickness is measured circumferentially in up to 3 measuring positions with line sensors. Thus a wall thickness tolerance of +/- 0.15 mm can be checked 100%. The WALL measuring module can be integrated together with the BOLT module in the MD860 or MD760 machine series.
