AMT Germany optimizes our oxygen deburring solution for rounds and billets

With our oxygen deburring the cutting beard (=burr) is removed during the cutting process by a constant oxygen blast. It is suitable for round and rectangular billets in different sizes. The removal of the burr is permanent, which makes the material quicker available for the next process steps. There is also no necessity for further downstream equipment.

The oxygen deburrer can be mounted on the clamping arms of the torch cutting machine and will be carried together with the cutting torch in moving direction. It consists of a water cooled deburring torch including a GEGA deburring nozzle with holder for optimal settings, an electrical or mechanical regulator for oxygen pressure adjustment as well as a set of hoses needed for the supply of the torch and nozzle. The oxygen deburring will be implemented into the PLC of torch cutting machine.
