Alpine Metal Tech Group successfully completes the purchase of Italian IMT Intermato

Alpine Metal Tech pursues a sustainable growth strategy to strengthen its global market position even during the corona virus restrictions. The focus is on product portfolio expansion, innovation, continuous research and development and targeted acquisitions that support the business model - IMT Intermato perfectly meets these requirements.

IMT Intermato is the world's leading manufacturer in the field of computer-based and fully automated drilling, grinding and turning machines for alloy wheels for cars, motorcycles and industrial applications as well as for the rail and aviation sectors.

The well-known brand IMT Intermato will be fully integrated into the AMT Group with a turnover of over 30 million euros and more than 100 employees. The current management of IMT Intermato, consisting of Mr. Claudio Caprioli and Mr. Giorgio Pedrini, will accompany this integration process in the group.

The takeover was successfully completed on July 27, 2020; despite the considerable restrictions caused by the pandemic - especially in Italy - and the consequent difficult work in advance.
