AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical consultancy: Analysing the client’s production requirements and proposing the best technological solution (machinery, automation systems, etc.). Interfacing with the technical and production departments to carry out feasibility checks for the preparation of quotations and commercial offers.
  • Negotiation management: Conducting commercial negotiations, finalising commercial offers and providing support through to the conclusion of the contract. Entering and managing orders in the ERP system. Monitoring the status of orders and managing any issues that arise.
  • Business development: Actively seeking new clients and identifying business opportunities.
  • Customer retention: Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers through regular visits.
  • Reporting: Monitoring sales performance and providing regular reports to management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualifications: Technical diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related).
  • Experience: Previous experience or a strong technical background in the machine tool sector (e.g. former technicians with a commercial attitude).
  • Technical skills: Knowledge of mechanical technical drawing and the main machining processes used in machine tools, preferably vertical lathes.
  • Language skills: Fluent command of English.
  • Soft skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, strong customer focus, negotiation skills and the ability to manage one’s own schedule independently.
  • Mobility: Category B driving licence and willingness to travel both within Italy and abroad.
