SIMULATION - Shannon International Airport, Ireland Contract Award – Aircraft Fire Simulator Upgrade

The upgrade will consist of such items as a new fire control safety, operating and management system. A complete replacement of all mechanical, electrical, gas and specialised systems will be undertaken. The works will be carried on site and the new aircraft fire training facility location at the airport. Commissioning will take place in August 2018. SIMULATION has signed a 5-year planned preventative maintenance contract to service the unit and provide technical support. Technical support will be made more efficient by the use of a remote diagnostic system capability which will be supplied as part of the upgrade.
