SIMULATION - Denver International Airport

07.12.2017

The City and County of Denver have awarded a contract to SIMULATION to design and build a new Narrow-Body Multipurpose Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Facility (ARFF) Fire Training Simulator at Denver International Airport.

The project consists of the supply of a Narrow-Body Multi-purpose Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Facility (ARFF) Fire Training Simulator. The work includes design, fabrication, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the facility, that includes internal, external and fuel spill/burn pit fire scenarios that can be utilized in any weather conditions at the Denver International Airport Fire Training Ground. To accommodate this new aircraft fuselage the existing aircraft will be removed, and the fire-ground infrastructure and primary utilities will be modified to accept the new. The new aircraft simulator will be designed to represent a modern narrow-bodied aircraft that combine the features of an Airbus A320, Boeing 737, De Havilland DHC 8 and a Bombardier CRJ 900.

The brand SIMULATION is the world’s leader in the design, manufacture, supply and installation of live fire training facilities. It is a part of the Alpine Metal Tech Group which is a world leader in four different business divisions (Steel, Automotive, Safety Services and Life Cycle Business) under seven brands (NUMTEC, GEGA, KNORR, AMAKON, MAGNEMAG and SIMULATION).
