SIMULATION - Commission of Custom Helicopter Fire Training Simulator

This unit replicates features of two different helicopters, the Airbus Helicopters “H-175” and the Sikorski “S-92”. This simulator enables the fire department to conduct rescue and fire suppression drills in a realistic environment. A few options included with this simulator are:

• Multiple interior fires such as seat fire(s), avionics fire and a ceiling rollover fire
• Smoke generation for the entire interior as well as smoke from an externally accessible battery compartment, smoking undercarriage and smoking engine compartment. 
• Exterior fires such as an engine fire and fuel spill fire.
• The simulator also has realistic functioning doors (to replicate those on the H-175 and S-92), seats with cut away legs, bins, compartments and cowlings.
