Belfast City Airport fire training simulator upgrade project sucessfully completed

The Boeing 737 / Dash 8 aircraft simulator was removed from site and underwent a major overhaul and upgrade including structural repairs, new wing engine and undercarriage, all new pipework and a new PLC fire control and safety management system including full electronic ignition and pilot flame supervision of all fire scenarios. A total of 13 external PG fire scenarios will be commissioned on the new facility.
