Thanks to many years of experience with automation applications and the ability of combining complex technologies from a single source, Alpine Metal Tech was awarded the contract by the automotive supplier Alu Menziken Euromotive GmbH to automate a leak testing line for battery trays. The two automation cells have been in operation since the beginning of the year and show another application area of the new Advanced Technology business field.

The constantly increasing demand in e-mobility makes it essential to automate production. Using an innovative automation solution from Alpine Metal Tech, the housing tops are fully automatically milled into shape, deburred, washed, leak-tested, tension mats and mica mats are applied and then visually inspected by a camera system.
